Final Curation! Sad

My final curation is here! A lovely collection of articles, videos, and resources I found incredibly helpful, and wish to return to as my years go by. To create this list, I used Listly. I'm a little unhappy that I did, to be honest! As it turns out, you can only list 10 items on Listly (unless you pay them). Therefore, I could only add 10 resources, when in reality I had about 21. Therefore, I listed 10 on Listly, and kept links to the rest in a private excel sheet. The articles and videos that I chose are ones that I see as reminders of why one should do things in certain ways, why some things are important, and even what something is (like flat design!). I view this list as something that I can refer to when I start to feel stressed out, uninformed, or I need a reminder about why I am doing what I am doing in the way that I am doing it! Moreover, I find the articles and videos that I chose can be ones to share with others, as a way to explain to them the things listed above, but also as a way to share important knowledge with whoever is receptive to it.

Overall, I have learned so, so much in this course. I think this was one of the most applicable classes I have ever taken--I know that I will use every skill and resource provided to me, and I will use it in actuality! As we all know, our world is becoming and will most likely continue to become more and more technologically reliant, and therefore it is important to learn all of the different ways in which libraries can use them to adapt. Though, I must admit, I am still cranky about ChatGPT :).

Overall, I am very excited to use the skills I have learned in this course in my career, and I know I will come back to this Listly collection like a woman starved. It has been lovely learning alongside all of you!
